This time, rin art association will be holding a solo exhibition of painter Masuda Yoshie, "Empty House," at the Gateau Festa Harada Head Office Gallery.
Intertwining natural scenes and human experiences into complex visual narratives, Masuda's paintings capture both serenity and chaos through a dynamic interplay of color, texture and form.
Through Masuda's expressive brushwork and evocative images, this exhibition will explore themes of nature, memory, and the flow of time.
Her latest series, "Empty House," is inspired by her meditations on the stories told in landscapes and buildings.
Looking out the window at the mountains, Masuda pondered their ridges, volume, and the interplay of light as he gazed out at the vacant houses nearby that could be seen from his artist studio.
This series captures the quiet presence of plants and structures, suggesting the life that once existed there and its inevitability of transitioning into a landscape of the past, and seems to symbolize the transience of human memory.
Masuda's world of painting is one in which abstract and concrete imagery are skillfully fused together through his contemplative manipulation of different textures, rhythmic composition and fluid brushwork.
Please take this opportunity to see Masuda Yoshie's new works in person.
